Therapy is for everyone.

About Refillable Glass Therapy LLC

Why "Refillable Glass"?

You've probably heard the question a thousand times: is the glass half empty, or half full? We think that's the wrong question. Life doesn't ask you to pick a side.

Some days the glass feels emptier than others. Stress piles up, old patterns resurface, energy runs low. Other days it feels fuller, steadier, more like yours again. Both are true at different times, and neither one is a permanent verdict on how you're doing.

What matters more is this: your glass is refillable. No matter how depleted things feel right now, you're not stuck there. Therapy, done well, isn't about deciding once and for all whether you're "doing okay" — it's about learning how to keep replenishing yourself, again and again, in whatever way actually works for you.

That's the work we do together. Not filling your glass for you, but helping you find your own ways back to full so that even on the emptier days, you know refilling is always possible.

No matter how depleted things feel right now, you're not stuck there.

Our Approach

From surviving to feeling like yourself again.

Your first session is about building a foundation: for me to get to know you, and for you to get a feel for whether we’re a good fit. I’ll ask what’s bringing you to therapy now, relevant history, and what you’re hoping will be different in your life as a result of our work together. It’s a conversation, not a questionnaire, and you’re welcome to share at whatever pace feels comfortable. Reaching out is often the hardest part, and I’m glad you did. I aim to create a space that’s direct and honest, but never judgmental. You won’t get platitudes from me. You’ll get someone who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and treats you as the expert on your own life. If you serve or have served in the military, in law enforcement, or as a first responder, you won’t have to translate the culture or justify why things have been hard. And if you’re not in uniform but you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or something you haven’t quite put words to yet, you’re welcome here exactly as you are. My job is to bring clinical tools and an outside perspective; yours is to bring your lived experience. Together, we’ll figure out what actually helps. By the end of our first session, my goal is for us to have: -A shared understanding of what’s bringing you to therapy and what’s been hardest lately -An initial sense of your goals, whether that’s reducing anxiety, easing stress or trauma reactions, addressing burnout, improving mood, or something less defined yet -A collaborative starting point for treatment, including early coping strategies you can use right away -A clear sense of how we’ll work together going forward, including frequency and approach You don’t need to have it all figured out before we start. You just need to show up, and we’ll take it from there.

You’re probably managing just fine by most measures. You show up, you handle the hard days, and you’re the one everyone else leans on. But beneath the surface, you may be quietly exhausted, anxious, depressed, or burned out, and you’ve found someone who understands. I specialize in working with military members, veterans, and law enforcement professionals, first responders, as well as adults navigating anxiety, depression, and burnout. With over seven years of clinical experience rooted in crisis intervention, I’ve developed a practical, grounded understanding of how people cope under real pressure, and of how stress, trauma, and the weight of what you’ve carried can show up differently for each person. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) with an MSW from Fordham University. My work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I’m trained in CBT for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP), an evidence-based approach for understanding what drives your hardest moments and building concrete skills to stay safe and move forward. Sessions are structured and collaborative, so you leave with tools you can use, not just insight. My goal is to help you identify specific ways to cope and move from surviving to actually feeling like yourself again. If that lands, I’d love to connect.
